Zack Lahmar is the Director of Tennis at Kings Highway Tennis Club (one of the most vibrant premier tennis clubs in Connecticut) and oversees the junior and adult programs.
Born and raised in Sweden, Zack reached the top rankings in his country, competed internationally in the ITF junior tour and, as a young adult, was recruited to a top 5 ranked NCAA Division I college team. For several years, after college tennis, Zack traveled the world competing on the ATP circuit. Furthermore, Zack holds a Bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, and he is a certified strength and conditioning coach. He was a fitness trainer and hitting partner for several famous WTA and ATP players. Zack’s deep-seated knowledge was acquired from years of coaching at diverse training facilities. He has led tennis programs for 2 decades and trained dozens of the top junior tennis players in the New England section. Many of his students have continued playing college tennis with great success.
Zack loves to train, coach, and spend his days at the tennis club. It’s clear he derives a lot of joy from his work as he declared “Kings Highway Tennis Club is a home away from home”.
